Kishore Mahbubani, an expert on Asian and world affairs who spent many years in Singapore’s diplomatic service, gives the annual George Ball Lecture at Columbia SIPA. Mahbubani is currently a senior advisor (for university and global relations) and professor in the practice of public policy at the National University of Singapore, where he served from 2004 to 2017 as dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
