THE LIVING ACTOR - Chapter 11: Silent Action
Silent Action is the basis of Psychophysical acting. Speech is built on the Language of the Body. In this chapter students create non-verbal improvisations to explore physical behavior that will communicate their thoughts and feelings. (For a demonstration as to how to apply Silent Action to the rehearsal process, see Playlists: THE LIVING ACTOR - Active Analysis in Rehearsal.)
