Hervör the Fearless | Viking Dark Folk

Hervör the Fearless — dark nordic folk ballad inspired by Hervarar saga ok Heiðreks. One of the oldest Norse sagas tells of a woman who refused to stay where she was put. She took a man's name, commanded a fleet, and sailed alone to a burning island where the dead don't rest. This song tells that story — raw, heavy, and built on the bones of the original saga text.
