Electricity is the most difficult part for many of you, so I'll explain it simply. The point of the question is, I want to buy a high-performance 7,000W induction cooktop, but I can't figure it out even with the included housing. Also, since my apartment is old, I'm not sure if I can install high-power appliances like induction cooktops. I'll send you a picture of the cooktop, so please let me know. So today, before purchasing high-power appliances like induction cooktops, electric ovens, dishwashers, drum washing machines, and air conditioners, I'll show you how to open the cooktop in your home. This will help those who don't know much about electricity understand the electrical system in their homes. I'll explain it in a way that even grandparents can understand. The image shows the distribution box used in Korean homes. It's often found on the wall in the entrance of an apartment. You might not know what it is, but if you need to open it, you might be afraid of getting shocked. This is the distribution box I assembled from various parts to help you understand. Underneath the circuit breaker switch, it says "Power, Light, Heat 1, Heat 2, Air Conditioner, Reserve." You probably have no idea where these are connected, right? Simply put, the light is connected to every light in the house, the heat is connected to every outlet in the house, and the air conditioner is connected to the air conditioner. The reserve is literally reserved for later. Now, let's open the cover of the distribution box to see what's inside, to see if this fun science is explaining things properly. Unscrew the screws and open the cover, and you'll see the switch, along with five circuit breakers with even more complex letters and numbers written in tiny letters. This distribution box divides the electricity coming into our home from the utility pole or the apartment basement electrical room, supplying or cutting it off to areas like the kitchen, bedrooms, living room, and utility room. That's why it's called a distribution box, using the Chinese character for "branch." (Main) The one on the far left of this distribution box is larger than the others. It's called a circuit breaker. In English, it's called an MCCB, but since it's the main circuit breaker, let's call it the main circuit breaker for ease of reference. This main circuit breaker supplies power to the house. If the current exceeds the allowable current, it trips the switch to cut off the power supply. Flipping this switch down cuts off all power in the house, and flipping it back on reconnects it. The large main circuit breaker has the word "LINE" written on the top, and this is where electricity first enters our home. When power is supplied to the main circuit breaker, wires are pulled from the area marked "LOAD" below the main circuit breaker and supplied to the smaller circuit breakers next to it. Then, each leakage circuit breaker distributes the power to the lights, outlets, and air conditioners in the bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. This main circuit breaker has a rated current of 50A, meaning that our home can use up to 50A of electricity. If the rated current exceeds 50A, the main circuit breaker cuts the power to protect the electrical circuits from damage. You might be confused about how much 50A means, right? So, let me explain it in simpler terms: power consumption. Power consumption comes up in second-year middle school science. Don't you remember? It's normal if you don't. If you do, you're lying. The formula for calculating power consumption is seizure. The court doesn't seize, but rather combines the voltage and current to create a seizure. Power consumption is calculated as voltage x current, so you know our home voltage is 220V, right? Multiplying this by the 50A current rating on the main circuit breaker gives us a power consumption of 11,000W. This means our entire home is allowed to use up to 11,000W of electrical appliances per hour. However, in reality, we're limited by a 20A leakage circuit breaker, which is lower than that limit, so we can't use the full 11,000W. Theoretically, we could use five coffee pots, each with a power consumption of 2,000W, with some surplus. If the main circuit breaker in your distribution box is marked 30A, you can use up to 6,600W. If the circuit breaker next to it is marked 20A, you can use up to 4,400W. (Earth leakage circuit breaker) If 50A reaches our house, and we only have one main circuit breaker, turning it off will cut off all the electricity in the house. But if I want to install an induction cooktop or dishwasher in the kitchen, I have to turn off the power to the entire house before I do it. But if I turn off the main circuit breaker, I'll have to shut off all the electricity in the house. My son, who's playing Battlegrounds in his room, will probably start a commotion. That's inconvenient. So, we need to divide the electricity into separate areas, like the kitchen and living room, so that eve...
