KYLIE MINOGUE Get Outta My Way STEVE ANDERSON'S PACHA VIDEO MIX

Using a wonderfully remixed version of Kylie's 'Get Outta My Way' by Steve Anderson, I have woven the original concept clip to create this video extended post. Kylie Minogue is nothing short of a phenomenon. Tiny in stature; huge in iconic status and an enduring and endearing pop princess. It's been 30 years since her version of Little Eva's hit 'Locomotion' rocketed up the Australian charts and was the best seller of 1987. Dismissed and derided originally in Australia for being a soapie actress turned pop singer and for having no discernable singing talent (the critics - not me!), Kylie didn't let the tall poppy syndrome squash this already pint sized performer. Becoming part of the Stock Aitken & Waterman Hit Factory, from 1988 to 1993, Kylie scored a raft of hits in England and Australia and even America where a remixed version of Locomotion was a huge success. Kylie was no cookie cutter recording artist. For long. From 1994 onwards, Kylie abandoned the hit factory model and branched out musically and artistically, becoming then a much admired and even acclaimed pop artist in her own country. A spectacular success on the world stage, Kylie worked on her voice; her image and her stage craft; becoming one of the world's most revered stage performers. Musically, her discography has traversed pop, rock, disco, funk and alternate music - with her collaboration with Nick Cave, earning both singers awards. A superstar in every sense of the word, Kylie's every move; each boyfriend, and health scares, became media fodder and paparazzi saturation, but our Kylie still prevailed. An inductee in the ARIA Hall Of Fame, there is no end in sight for the performer and her extraordinary career. I've chosen 'later' Kylie to honour her and create an extended clip as it perhaps personifies the artist she has become; certainly not the one she began.
