Leo St. Martin: Gillette's 2025 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Champion
Gillette Children’s celebrates our 2025 @ChildrensMiracleNetworkHospitals Local Champion, Leo St. Martin. Leo receives care at Gillette for Infantile Pompe disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes a buildup of glycogen in the body's cells. This buildup damages muscles and can impair the function of organs and tissues. Leo – an avid sports fan – regularly participates in adaptive sports and recently helped rally community support to bring accessible equipment to his school’s playground.
