Traditional folk music from The Sands Family live at The Embankment. Tommy Sands introduces his brothers Colum and Benny, and sister Anne, to the audience at The Embankment on the Blessington Road, Tallaght. We’re very very glad to be up here. The County Down band perform a translation of the old Donegal song ‘Donal Óg’. If you should go across the water, take me with you to be your partner. This episode of ‘At The Embankment’ was broadcast on 15 October 1976. ‘At The Embankment’ was a 12-week music series featuring well-known performers on the traditional Irish music scene, recorded at The Embankment pub in Tallaght, County Dublin.
