We delve into Route 99, a wonderful initiative that explores villages with fewer than 100 inhabitants in the Valencian Community. We'll focus on those in Castellón, as most are located in the Sierra de Espadán mountain range. We leave behind the noise of the Sueras motorhome area to seek the peace that only the Sierra de Espadán can offer. We put our motorhome skills to the test on narrow roads and breathtaking mountain passes (and sometimes cell service! 😅). We visit Villamalur and Fuentes de Ayódar. We enjoy their tranquility and discover curiosities like the locks on the houses, specially designed for bullfighting festivals. We end the day arriving in Torralba del Pinar, a village seemingly lost to the world, where we find a truly unique motorhome area: a wild, abandoned mix with incredible potential.
