On September 1st, an article was published in Science that seems to suggest a very intriguing scenario: around 900,000 years ago, something really strange happened to our species in Africa: did we risk extinction? Did a small group of our ancestors split from all the others? In this video I try to tell you about the article and the scientific debate that arose from it. I contacted the two Italian authors of the study: Giorgio Manzi and Fabio di Vincenzo, and I asked the latter some questions.
