Yeah, I know. But what evidence do we have that same-sex relationships were frowned upon in the Viking Age? Was it really not OK to be gay in Viking Age Europe? Is this just a case of later church laws imposing their views on others? Did the Vikings really have masculinity so fragile you could knock it down with a feather?
