Hi, Let's take a look at some of the things I was playing over the Minor 2 5 1 in C minor (D half Diminished, G7alt and Cmin) in that latest video.( Number 14, 90 sec 90 Lessons) Alot of MELODIC MINOR SOUNDS using Pentatonics to get in there. It just might be fun ;) The only thing that I didn't mention in this video was; You can ALSO use the Flat 6 Pentatonic on the G7Alt ( Which is a really great sound, emphasising both the Sharp 9 and the Major 3rd) check it out.. Eb, F, G, Bb,B. All these notes are within Ab Melodic minor ( which is G7alt). Practice it in the same way as demonstrated... so now the whole sequence is 'Flat 6 Pentatonics'.
