Typically, we avoid zoos and wildlife enclosures, but after hearing from locals that Cebu Safari & Adventure Park provides a spacious and well-maintained environment for animals, we decided to see if it felt that way for ourselves. Located in Carmen, Cebu, this 170-hectare park is the largest safari and animal sanctuary in the Philippines, home to over 1,000 animals from 120 species. Unlike traditional zoos, Cebu Safari claims to emphasize conservation, breeding programs, and environmental education. The Breeding and Research Center actively works to protect endangered species, particularly birds, and supports wildlife sustainability efforts.
