Gaia Royal Kos - Full resort tour including food, beach, pools and much more!

Welcome to the Channel! This vlog covers most of what Gaia Royal resort on the Greek island of Kos has to offer. It is a large resort with 3 pools, 3 bars and a great beach. It is an all inclusive resort however the Beach Bar, cocktails and premium drinks are not included. Sunbeds at the beach are chargeable at 7 euro for 2 beds and a parasol. The sunbeds around the pool are free. You are able to upgrade to 'Ultra Inclusive' at any time during your stay for 25 euro per person per day which will cover the above and additional snack options. The food offering is above average in our experience of 'All Inclusive' resorts with good variety of dishes and plenty of fresh salads and fruit available at every meal. The pools are great for families and are shallow, if you like to swim these are probably not for you, we would suggest swimming in the sea! A word of caution about mosquitos....unfortunately there is no avoiding them, we went with spray repellant and repellant plug-ins for the room which did help. They are not unique to this resort as we have stayed on this side of the Island previously and had the same problem. Location - this resort is around 30 minutes drive from Kos town, there is a bus from the resort daily at 09:30 which returns at 13:00. You can use the local bus services but it will drop you off at the main road which is approx 30 minute walk back to the resort. Alternatively you can get a taxi at a cost of around 29 euro from the town. However you may have to wait some time for one as they are few and far between. Children - there is plenty to do for children, great pools, play parks, games rooms, mini zoo and mini golf. Kids clubs are run by the animation team, however we did not see any of them on this stay.
