2024 Honda CR-V e:HEV RS review in Malaysia - The Mythical SUV Supreme?

Sure, over the last 30 years, the Honda CR-V has gone from everyday errand runner to both pseudo-luxury statement piece and a practicality powerhouse. But something has happened with this new 6th-generation version: it has become a desired object. Whether its nose is too Audi or Mazda-like, or its rear end is uncomfortably similar to a Volvo's - who cares - people are impressed, even attracted, when they see on roll by, and that's a big deal. Unfortunately, none of this comes cheap. Brushing up against the RM200k mark for this top-of-the-line variant in RS trim and powered by the company's excellent i-MMD hybrid drive system, the CR-V is positioned as Honda's flagship offering, only losing the title of "most expensive Honda" to the Civic Type R. So, does it deserve that seat on the throne? ___________________________ 0:00 - Introduction 1:15 - A bit of context, variants & pricing 2:42 - Exterior design 5:05 - Boot space, practicality 6:13 - Engine and the i-MMD hybrid system 7:23 - Interior, front 11:36 - Interior, rear 13:57 - Driving impressions 23:18 - Closing thoughts ___________________________ Follow us: Website: https://www.carlist.my Facebook:   / carlist.my   Instagram:   / carlistmy   Tiktok:   / carlistmy   CarTell:   / cartell
