Nintendo Unboxed: 64DD (JP ロクヨンディーディー) Connections, Keyboard, & Startup (part 3 of 3)
In this three-part series, I unbox the 64 DD add-on peripheral for the Nintendo 64 game system. The 64 DD was a magnetic disk add-on that provided the N64 with an additional 64 megabites of writable storage space. The Randnet service allowed users to communicate and share custom content via the internet. Although the add-on seemed like a good idea, it was released so near the end of the N64's lifespan that Nintendo decided to limit its release only to Japan.
