Traditions and rituals of peoples of the North are closely related to their lifestyle and climate conditions. They travel through vast expanses of tundra with reindeer herds, just like their ancestors did. They are busy with fishing, fur hunting. Each ethnic group has its own customs. However, there are also common features in their rituals, due to the similar traditional lifestyles. Nomadic peoples treat death philosophically.
