Today, we’re bringing you something a little different from the usual 6th-gen Camaros—it's a clean 2014 ZL1 Camaro that made the journey from Alabama to Late Model Racecraft for a full transformation. Mr. McNichols wanted a reliable weekend toy with big power—and we delivered. Still on 93 octane, this manual-transmission ZL1 now pumps out 714 RWHP and 579 RWTQ, thanks to a custom camshaft package, Kong ported 1.9L LSA supercharger, 103mm throttle body, 5” intake, American Racing headers, and ID1050x injectors. With a fuel system upgrade and E85 in the future, we expect this thing to push 850–900+ rear-wheel horsepower safely on the stock bottom end. 💪 ✔ Ported blower (Kong Race X port) ✔ Custom camshaft & valvetrain ✔ Boost turned down for safety—12-13 psi ✔ Upgraded clutch, breather system, cold air, and headers ✔ Baseline: 471 RWHP → Final: 714 RWHP on 93 ✔ Still has dual-mode exhaust for that sleeper feel 😎 Even though it's a 5th-gen, this ZL1 proves old school can still dominate the streets.
