In search of MOUNIBABA JI ( Part 2 - PARAMAPAD )

Mounibaba ji, a Himalayan highly elevated saint used to do TAPASYA in an ancient cave, deep in the forest ,in footpath way to Neelkantha Mahadev, Rishikesh. He used to live in utter austerity.A falahari (one who doesnt take rice,cereals,salt,turmeric,onion ,garlics etc), a Mouni (having a vow of silence), a tyagi ( no material collection ), a Mayatyagi (wont touch money ),a physically pure (wont touch anybody ) humble person.He used to practise love with a VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM motto. He won't speak anything about himself. He used to cook his own falahari prasad which he took once a day.There was no electricity or any modern facilities.He was very friendly with the wild animals of the forest ie Monkeys,elephants,tigers,deers etc. He used to run a Kadhi Chawal bhandara, through out the year. He is also popular as KADHI CHAWAL WALE BABAJI. On the wee hours of September 25, 1992 he left for the Higher Himalayas. He vanished near BHAIRON CHATTI , 8 KM before Gangotri. His devotees love him as embodiment of Love and Knowledge. There are many interesting anecdotes attached to him.This is the beginning of a series that attempts to explore Mounibaba ji.
