Throat cancer is a general term that describes several different types of cancer. Understanding the different parts and what they do helps you to understand more about the cancers that affect this part of the body. Throat cancers could be in one of two main areas that doctors call the: pharynx head and neck Cancers are treated according to where they started and the type of cell they started from.
