Cycling Through Hanoi, Vietnam | Exploring the back streets and getting lost!

During our time in Vietnam I decided to have a go at making a few YouTube videos of my hire bike adventures. This one was filmed in Hanoi, where I left the hotel at around 6am with a simple plan to explore the banks of the Red River, Vietnam's second-largest river after the Mekong. What started as a quiet morning ride turned into an unforgettable adventure. Along the way I found myself riding through bustling local markets, weaving through tiny back streets, meeting friendly locals, discovering just how dirty parts of the river are, battling 40°C heat, and somehow surviving Hanoi's legendary traffic. It turned into one of those days I'll never forget. If you've got a few minutes, I'd love for you to check it out!
