Simple Collision Detection In Pico-8
This is why I don't like talking in these videos, when I am trying to get my point across I tend to repeat myself and I am sure it is probably annoying. Either way, this is another one of those videos that I just recorded on the fly so the voice is really quiet; apologies for that as well. To give credit where credit is due, the simplified min/max math for this detection system was derived from the implementation used in BoxFace - A Simple Platformer Setup by Nullh on the Pico 8 forums.
