How Laser Peening Works

How Laser Peening Works combines animation and live shots of the Procudo® Laser Peening System by LSP Technologies in order to illustrate how laser peening protects metal surfaces from cracking and corrosion. In laser peening, precisely controlled laser pulses create a small plasma explosion between the part and a smooth water overlay, which points pressure deep into the part.
