It was a busy field day with a lot of interesting conversations with the owner of the enterprise and guests of the seminar. We talked about the experience of the farm, approaches to working with the soil, practical solutions in the field and observations of colleagues. In the episode, we stopped by different varieties of wheat that were sown on the farm as an experiment. We also looked at phacelia and discussed the problems we encountered this season. We separately examined sunflowers - different densities, different hybrids and the condition of the crops in the field. We also talked about corn and why there was less of it in the farm's crop rotation this year.
