The Double Spammy Whammy - Revisited East Lancashire Railway 3P20 Parcels Group Photographic Charter Monday 13th April 2026 Richard Newton notes that the 'revisited' on the title is in reference to Geoff Silcock's original Double Spammy Whammy photo charter on the Swanage Railway many, many years ago. However, the visit of Bulleid pacific 34070 Manston for the ELR’s “Legends of Steam” presented the opportunity to pair Manston with City of Wells for a Bulleid double header on Monday 13 April immediately following Legends of Steam III event. The train will comprised of 8 Mk1 maroon hauled by visiting Southern Locomotives Limited Battle of Britain class 34070 Manston and resident West Country Pacific 34092 City of Wells. Locations are Burrs, Summerseat/Brooksbottom, Ramsbottom, Irwell Vale and Little Burrs.
