David Lyttle - Art Blakey Tribute, Hill District, Pittsburgh

Irish jazz drummer David Lyttle finished up his month-long, coast-to-coast U.S. residency in Pittsburgh's Hill District with a tribute to drumming legend Art Blakey at the site of his childhood home. With saxophonist Tom Harrison he performed 'A Night In Tunisia' (Dizzy Gillespie), 'Moanin'' (Bobby Timmons) and 'One By One' (Wayne Shorter). Special thanks for Terri Baltimore and the Hill House Association for their efforts in making this possible.
