The Double Bypass kit overcomes this obstacle by installing a secondary OBD2 port in the trunk, bypassing the security module. For 2017 and older models (2011 - 2017) the Double Bypass Module can not only be used as a secondary OBD2, but also as a way to help hide the Z-Automotive TaZer. This pairs perfectly with the Z-Automotive TaZer's PIN LOCK security feature which helps to deter automotive theft by locking the brakes and the accelerator pedal when triggered. Our Pin Lock feature also includes the BrickByFob and KillPedalNow feature, which acts as a preemptive theft-deterrent feature, by pre-bricking the BCM, so even if the TaZer is removed, the gas pedal would remain bricked and unable to be driven.
