I Built Every Lure For My Next Kayak Tournnament

What happens when you fish a kayak bass tournament using ONLY homemade fishing lures? I'm currently sitting in 2nd place in the Keystone Bass Kayak Series Angler of the Year race, but instead of playing it safe, I decided to build every lure for my next kayak bass fishing tournament from scratch. No store-bought bass fishing lures. No backup tackle. Every bait I throw on tournament day has to come from my own workshop. In this kayak bass fishing challenge, I build an entire tournament fishing tackle lineup including custom swim jigs, homemade chatterbaits, vibrating jigs, a custom buzzbait, hand-poured soft plastics, shaky head worms, Texas rig creature baits, swimbait trailers, and several custom bass fishing lure colors designed specifically for summer bass fishing. Along the way I learn how to tie jig skirts for the first time, build my own chatterbait-style lures, pour custom soft plastics, and assemble what I hope will become a tournament-winning kayak fishing arsenal. The goal is simple: Build an entire bass fishing tackle box from scratch and then use those homemade fishing lures in a real kayak bass tournament. Will these custom baits actually catch fish? Or will I completely sabotage my tournament before it even starts? 🎣 In this video: • Custom swim jig building • Homemade chatterbait / vibrating jig building • Buzzbait assembly • Soft plastic lure making • Hand-poured bass fishing worms • Texas rig creature bait pouring • Shaky head worm pouring • Custom lure color creation • Tournament tackle preparation • Kayak bass tournament strategy Part 1 = Building the baits Part 2 = Fishing the tournament using ONLY homemade lures If you're into kayak bass fishing, bass tournaments, tournament preparation, lure making, DIY fishing tackle, custom fishing lures, homemade soft plastics, kayak tournament fishing, bass fishing challenges, chatterbait fishing, jig fishing, shaky head fishing, Texas rig fishing, and competitive kayak fishing, make sure to subscribe and turn notifications on so you don't miss Part 2. #KayakBassFishing #BassFishing #KayakFishing #BassTournament #KayakTournament #TournamentFishing #FishingChallenge #HomemadeLures #CustomLures #LureMaking #SoftPlastics #DIYFishing #Chatterbait #SwimJig #Buzzbait #TexasRig #ShakyHead #TournamentBassFishing #KeystoneBassKayakSeries
