The Stormcast Eternals that make up the Anvils of the Heldenhammer are not souls reforged by Sigmar at the moment of a heroic death, but already dead and pulled from the realms ruled by Nagash... not a theft he takes lightly! READ MORE: 00:00 - Intro 01:18 - The Painting 16:29 - The Finished Product Grim and brooding by nature, the Anvils of the Heldenhammer wear deep black plate armour, though some of the official artwork portrays this as more of a glossy, lacquered black finish. I thought it would be interesting to try to recreate that in principle for the tabletop! Not the fastest Stormhost to paint by a long way, but they do look incredibly striking on the table with sinister black armour and shining gold trim.
