Back in 2022 the graphics card market was pretty bleak, with stock shortages and high prices on new and used products. The RX 6500 XT was designed to combat this, with specs that wouldn't be appealing to miners. The problem was, it wasn't that appealing to gamers either due to it's cut down specs and performance limitations, including a 64bit bus width and 4GB of VRAM.
