Hello from Valencia, Spain's third-largest city! This week, we took a long walk through the streets of Valencia. The best thing to do in this city is to get lost in the old town, soak up the historical atmosphere, and try delicious Spanish cuisine. The Biopark is also among the interesting places to visit. And of course, when talking about Valencia, we couldn't leave out the wide sandy beaches. Let's begin our Valencia tour!... . We reached Valencia after about a 3.5-hour drive from Barcelona. Valencia is a city I find safer, more peaceful, and more livable. When we visited 7 years ago, we stayed in the old city center. This time, I stayed closer to the beach. It's a half-hour bus ride to the center. The beaches on Valencia's beaches are beautiful, but the sea isn't amazing in my opinion. It's not the Aegean, as we always say. :) . The area where Valencia Cathedral, the Mercado market, and the town hall are located is worth seeing for its historic houses and authentic streets. The adjacent Royal Gardens are also a great stop for those looking to get away from the crowds and spend time in nature. While exploring, don't forget to stop at small cafes and restaurants to sample tapas, paella, and other Spanish delicacies. :) . A visit to the Biopark is also an activity worth doing in Valencia, especially for families with children. While as an animal lover, I'm against restricting the freedom of wild animals in this way, it doesn't seem unreasonable since children don't often have the opportunity to encounter these animals in their natural habitat.
