In the past we had seen small scale stuff in COD Online in the Asian markets and a never released small scale battle royale game mode that was tested in Call of Duty: WWII, but we ended up getting our first full gameplay entry in Black Ops 4. I often think though: What if Blackout had gotten the support and upkeep that Warzone did? How differently would our last few years have looked if Black Ops 4 was released after Modern Warfare 2019?
