Glenn Jenkins from Marsh Farms outreach was an absolutely captivating speaker with real life stories. Marsh Farm Outreach are an activist and community development organisation who have helped transform the face of the Marsh Farm estate in Luton, UK, one of the poorest areas in England. In this talk, Glen gives us some of the colourful history of MFO, sharing some of the obstacles they have encountered, how they have challenged authority, and how they enable the local community to self-organise and build alternative means of community economic development.
