The Institute of Geophysics and relevant agencies are actively investigating the specific cause of this phenomenon to come up with effective prevention and response measures. According to Mr. Le Nhu Nhat, the Institute of Geophysics determined that the cause was an earthquake, possibly due to the hydropower plant storing water in its reservoir. However, it has not been determined which reservoir caused the water storage.
