Following the Sydney edition, this video covers the 4 nights and 5 days we spent in Byron Bay. For Japanese yen, the exchange rate at that time was 103 yen, a bit weaker. But the yen has gotten a little stronger since then, so I’ve used today’s rate, AU$1 = ¥94, for the conversions. The US dollar to yen conversion is based on today’s rate (Sep. 11, 2024): US$1 = ¥142. Both Sydney and Byron Bay felt very expensive, much like Hawaii. However, having US dollars made it quite affordable, and even with Japanese yen, the current exchange rate makes it a much better deal than traveling to the U.S.! I’ve tried to keep the editing real and minimize background music, so you can feel like you’re actually traveling with me.
