Prof. Wayne Guitar Class! "Over and Over" - Learn The Solos & Rhythm Guitar Parts
The original solo to the seminal MC5 rocker "Over and Over" was played by Fred Smith, who also wrote the tune. Here, Wayne shares the lead guitar duties with Los Angeles guitar phenom Waylon Rector. The solo section is here extended to double its original length where Wayne plays Fred's original solo note-for-note, then Waylon follows with a new one for 2020. It's a hard one and that's partly because the song is unique to Fred's creativity and definitely idiosyncratic. Give it a try! Then, watch the entire full band's live performance.
