Born in Kolkata and residing in Hyderabad since 2002, his career spans over two decades. Highlights of his career include: Representing India at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014, where his composition "The Spirit of India" - premiered at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland. Collaborating with a prestigious symphony and chamber orchestra, including the Delhi Symphony Orchestra as their youngest professional violinist. Representing India at the Tokyo Orchestra Week in Japan in 2027. Formed the prestigious Indo-European Youth Orchestra, India's first Chamber and Intercultural Music Orchestra to perform in Europe and continuing the saga since 2019. He has performed as a Conductor in Europe for over seven times, probably the only Conductor based in India to achieve this milestone. His orchestral compositions have been performed in the UK, the US, various countries in Europe and India. He is the founder and creator at the renowned online music academy www.musiclesson.in Maestro Makhal's passion for teaching extends to both young and adult learners, continuing the legacy of his father, Maestro Ananta Makhal.
