La fabrication à la ferme des cordes avec des ficelles de récupération

Demonstration of rope making using sisal twine (a fibrous plant from tropical regions) by the Moulin and Tropée families of La Bouëxière (Ille-et-Vilaine). In the 20th century, farmers bought rolls of this twine to power reaper-binders (for grain) and balers (for hay). They would then carefully cut the twine close to the knot for easier reuse. Nothing was wasted.
