🥁 Festumzug – 175 Jahre Musikkapelle Niederdorf & 150 Jahre Freiwillige Feuerwehr Niederdorf 🎺🚒

On July 27, 2025, the village of Villabassa in the Puster Valley became the stage for a truly unique double anniversary: the Villabassa Brass Band celebrated 🎶 its 175th anniversary, while the Villabassa Volunteer Fire Brigade proudly looked back 🚨🔥 on 150 years of service to the community. Following the official ceremony, a colorful festive parade set off under the motto “Firefighting Through the Centuries & 175 Years of the Brass Band” – featuring gleaming emergency vehicles and historic fire engines 🚒, followed by brass bands filling the streets with lively marching music. In addition to the jubilee band from Villabassa/Niederdorf, the Lutago Brass Band, the San Candido Brass Band, the Wurzelkapelle Wahlen, and the Wilten City Band (Austria) contributed to the festive atmosphere. Countless spectators lined the streets to witness this impressive showcase of living tradition and deeply rooted local customs. Participating Groups: 1.
