SWISS ENGAGEMENT IN KOREA: THE FORGOTTEN ARMISTICE
Swiss soldiers have been engaged in the Korea peace support mission since 1953. As members of the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) they monitor the ceasefire between South and North Korea. For this they are stationed in Panmunjom directly on the demarcation line.
