The Lotus Evija Has One Design Rule It Is Everywhere

I visited Lotus Mayfair in London to get up close with the Evija in Arden green. 2011 horsepower. 130 cars ever made. Around £3 Million. But the numbers are not what got me. It was a shape. Sit inside the Evija and you will find the same hexagonal pattern on the pedals, the floating centre console, the steering wheel, the start button, the indicator stalks, the driver display and the seat shell. The same shape. Everywhere. Even where nobody would ever look. This is not a review. It is a design investigation. One idea, applied at every scale across one of the most extreme cars Britain has ever produced.
