18/7 Birds Visiting All Afternoon: Crows, Jays, Tits, Finches, Woodpeckers, Robins & Doves etc

Episode 316: 18th July 2026 You may notice today that Iput a few smaller containers down. This is because I noticed some of the blue tits trying to drink from the bird bath but their size makes it difficult for them, hence the smaller containers. So far, only a blackbird used one, I will look for something more suitable, hopefully they will switch to doing what some of the blue and great tits have started doing and drinking from the fountain, which has smaller drinking bowls than the previous water fountain, in the hope it would make it easier for them to drink from.. Some times of interest, although there are many more unspecified times of interest throughout the day (Active once livestream ends): Great spotted woodpecker - Two great spotted woodpeckers - Two young great spotted woodpeckers - Goldfinches, blue tits and great tits - Great spotted woodpecker and goldfinches - Great spotted woodpecker, starlings and blue tits - Blue tit drinks from the water fountain! - More to be added... In today’s video, you will generally see a range of birds visiting the feeders in the tree all day, particularly blue tits, great tits, coal tits, woodpeckers, robins, goldfinches, greenfinches and starlings, as well as Jays. There will also be a range of birds that visit and forage for food on the floor, this includes collared doves, wood pigeons, crows, jackdaws, dunnocks, songthrush, and the jays.
