Contribution à l'étude des bétons de parois moulées ( LCPC 1959)

This film deals with the study of diaphragm wall concrete conducted in 1959 by the Regional Laboratory for Bridges and Roads and the University Institute of Technology (IUT) of Strasbourg. The aim was to obtain a homogeneous concrete with good compaction through experimentation carried out in Mulhouse for the preparation of the large-gauge Rhine/Rhône waterway. The search for an optimal formula was achieved by studying the rheological characteristics of concrete, defining a material capable of remaining homogeneous and exhibiting good flow properties. This film retraces the laboratory tests performed on reduced-scale models of diaphragm walls.
