We set out to tackle some of the Victorian High Country’s most iconic tracks, making our way from Falls Creek towards Devil’s Hollow, expecting an off-road adventure through the Victorian Alps. Instead, we were met with locked gate after locked gate. What should have been a straightforward High Country route quickly turned into a day of rerouting, map checking, and trying to figure out why tracks that appeared open were suddenly inaccessible.
