He said, before of Partition we lived very peaceful at village and were enjoying our daily life. playing all days in the village and village was of Muslims in majority , from different clan like rajpoot, and Araein, with only one family of juts. there were many Adharmi now. they were laborer. He said his mother died before of Partition and they were only four brothers and father and grandmother was to look after them. village head man knew some thing is brewing and he said pick what you can and leave the village as we may be attacked, by jutha. so we loaded our cart with grain and what we can and when we stayed in a camp at Pandori, it was distributed among other migrant. they were being guarded by Gurkha soldiers and they were very rude. they did not let us keep even a small stick and later Pakistan Army came to escort our caravan, then things were changed and only they become more careful when were Passing through Amritser city. Army took every step to safe guard the lives of Muslims. He said he saw only some dead bodies at the river Beas. and other journey was peaceful. till they reached Lahore and were free to go any where we wanted. His father Maternal uncles brothers were residing at the village close to Toba Tek Singh and they traveled on their cart till they reached at that village. they helped them to settle down the village presently living. As he was young boy was sent to school and soon his father died and was to quit school to help his elder brother in the field as he was to help his father. now he become our father like and life become very tough. He shared, we came out from village safely and latter village was attacked and the Sikhs walked beside them on road to save them from any attack till they reached at camp.
