Squats are an incredible way to build toned legs. They also create an anabolic environment in your body and promote muscle building. If you are a beginner, you might hesitate to start your fitness journey. Exercise generates the best results when done under proper guidance. Most people join the gym but are confused about the right exercise to do and in the right way. While doing squats, take care of the following things. 1. Warm-up your body to stretch your muscles. 2. Make sure to place the barbell in the exact center, neither too high nor too low. 3. Your legs should be as wide as your shoulder width. 4. Your neck and head should be straight, neither too high nor too low. 5. Keep your back straight and as you move down, distribute your weight equally in all the muscles. Do not overburden the knee or hip joint. Keep your knees aligned with the toes. 6. Inhale before you start the squat, tighten your core and go down, and exhale after you stand.
