Caddy Storage QLD - Mercedes Sprinter Wheelchair Conversion

As far as we know this is the first Mercedes sprinter to be converted to self-drive for a wheelchair occupant. It has remote control rear doors/remote control wheelchair hoist, docking station for the wheelchair, 6 way electric power seat base, electric handbrake, hand controls, rear air con and seating, velour hood lining and faux leather side trims. The wheelchair occupant can enter the vehicle by himself and the doors and wheelchair loader will fold up after the wheelchair is in the vehicle using the remote control, the occupant then can transfer into the driver's seat. The wheelchair secures itself in the docking system with a switch mounted on the driver's seat, the 6 way power seat base lifts the driver up to the desired height and moves him forward into the driving position with the controls mounted on the driver's seat.
