Niklas Kaul wins decathlon gold | Munich 2022

In the ultimate test of athletic conditioning, the entrants of the decathlon at Munich 2022 entertained crowds across the competition duration. At the European Athletics Championships, Germany's Niklas Kaul had the support of the home fans behind him and they cheered as he fought for gold. Heading into the final day, he had yet to win an event and was not in medal contention, but thanks to two amazing performances in the javelin and 1500m he won gold.
