EPLAN Tutorial on how our Smart Wiring can help you save over 50% of your manufacturing time

Second, we layout all our panel components in a 3D Propanel. This enables Rittal's RAC to pre-drill & pre-cut all your panels before assembly. And Third we use the Smart EPLAN Propanel to route the perfect wire. This routing information is then used to pre-fabricate the wires within our Wireprint.com shop or do as we do: process the wires on the Rittal WT Wire Terminal. This Smart Wiring process will eliminate 80% of your wiring time, within less than 1 minute per wire, you will finish the wire landing in your panels. Smart Production and Smart Wiring will even give you a checking tool to validate your panel integrity. Overall we guarantee that you can build your panels in less then 50% of your time today. Let machines do the perfect drilling and cutting, let a machine pre-fabricate the wire to perfect length, print the perfect tags in seconds while you focus on assembly. A typical wire installation process takes in average, anywhere between 5 and 8 minutes. (Read the schematics, evaluate the length through a simulation of the routing path, cut the wire, strip the 2 ends of the wire, crimp the 2 ferrules (here semi-automatic machines could help accelerate the process), wrap around or apply 2 labels at both ends in the correct direction depending on the connection direction to finally land the wire in place which sometimes requires special torquing specs or special tools (here the newer push-in terminals are great time saver)).
