Hawkwell to Bygate Standing Stone
Two locations today - an old disused quarry near Stamfordham (Hawkwell Quarry) and Bygate Pagan Standing Stone, Bygate Hill near Waldridge Cottages in Northumberland - take the track up to the communications mast, walk past it a few feet then turn inward (right) through the fallen trees and bracken, and there you'll find it.
