"Wonnapa Bangsaen Beach Morning Market" This fisherman's market sells fresh seafood and a wide variety of ready-to-eat food. It's a really cool and stylish way to stroll along the beach and enjoy delicious food. Plus, the vendors are super friendly and offer promotions and giveaways at almost every stall. They even let you sample the food before you buy. How awesome, right? And this morning, our "Jaek Liao" team brought a variety of delicious dishes. Let me tell you what we brought! "Crab claws" from "Tal Poo Ma" for 180 baht, down from the original price of 200 baht. The vendors were incredibly friendly! This was the busiest place to be this morning, as they let you try them before you buy. Before we even bought it, we tried both the shellfish and the crab. It was truly a treat! 555 Most importantly, this restaurant's seafood sauce is incredibly spicy. So delicious, we didn't hesitate to buy a box of sweet crab claws. "Jaeng Lon" skewers cost 20 baht each. We ordered two skewers for 40 baht (what kind of slurp?). I have to say, it was incredibly delicious. It was even better when eaten hot. The sweet and fragrant flavor of the young coconut, the slightly salty fish and curry paste, combined with the sweet and fragrant coconut milk and young coconut, created a truly umami-y flavor. "Grilled Squid" We ordered a light squid, exactly 100 baht. The squid on the grill was incredibly fragrant and enticing, as if under a spell, beckoning us to buy it. However, you might have to find a shop that does the frying, as the shop I bought them from focuses on fresh, raw fish. However, the seller was kind enough to contact the shop next door to ask if they'd fry them for us, and they did, charging us 50 baht. Hearing that, we quickly ordered them! "Sole" is a fish that's quite hard to find. Even my Chinese wife has never eaten it, so it was a great opportunity for her to try it. The fish is soft and flaky, very easy to eat, and it's a flavor I long for. Because this is a dish that my mom often cooked for me when I was a kid. It's a delicious meal that also brings back memories. It's truly worth it. "Fried Fish Eggs" (50 baht per box) This is a very basic street food item. What impressed me the most was that the vendors included two additional fried fish (I don't know what kind of fish they are, I can't tell, lol). The vendors at this market are very kind, offering discounts and freebies. Almost every vendor is friendly and welcoming. The taste is standard for fried fish eggs, but I think the fish eggs are a bit bigger than other places. It's a good value. "Grilled Fish Balls" (10 baht per stick) I ordered four for 40 baht. These fish balls are made from 100% fish meat, and they're delicious and not fishy at all. They come with the restaurant's signature sweet tamarind sauce.
